Ying Chan is a London-based technologist and entrepreneur, credited as the co‑founder and chief technology officer (CTO) of . Education

Ying Chang earned a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, with a focus on Machine Learning, from Imperial College London between 2015 and 2016. Prior to this, he completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Systems Engineering at the University of Queensland from 2011 to 2012. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), obtained between 2007 and 2010. [2]

Experience

Ying Chang has worked across machine learning, engineering, and cryptographic systems. Since 2022, he has served as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at , based in Cambridge, where he contributes to the platform’s technical architecture and development. Prior to this, he co-founded Cambridge Cryptographic and held the role of CTO from 2020 to 2022.

Earlier in his career, Chang worked at FiveAI, where he held positions as a machine learning engineer and later as team lead for the machine learning pipeline between 2017 and 2020. Before that, he was a research and development specialist at nChain from 2016 to 2017, focusing on -related technologies.

He began his professional career as an electrical and instrumentation engineer at WorleyParsons from 2013 to 2015, working on engineering projects in Australia. [1] [2]
